13/27: Egg 1: Egg In Dining Room

One of my favorite assignments was to take pictures of eggs. The class was initially skeptical, but came up with many great pictures. This is the dining room at 17 Highland. We usually ate in the kitchen and the dining room was saved for special occasions. The big bowl covering the salt and pepper shakers was often inverted and used for salads and rarely had an egg on it. I cleaned up the print a bit, and it might be worth trying again from the negative, but not at the moment. Compare with next picture.
Reflected in the mirror over the fireplace is the chandelier photographed for a different assignment.
